For no reason, an inexplicable sadness overwhelms you when you wake up today. Like something that was once dear to you has been lost in the recesses of your mind. For the longest time, a vision so vivid, so clear, that had appeared to you in your slumber at a time in your life when you needed encouragement to push on is now a milky haze. You suddenly can't recall what it showed you, how it brought you back on your feet. Struggling, the vision once so apparent to you slips away ever faster, so you stop. You let it go.
